Media Notes: Eleven Sports Signs Deal To Show Chinese Basketball In Taiwan

Eleven Sports Network has signed an agreement with Infront to bring live and exclusive action of the Chinese Basketball Association to fans in Taiwan. From Oct. 29, the network will carry between three and six regular season games per week, plus the All-Star and postseason matchups via the network's Eleven Sports platform. Future featured games will focus on teams with Taiwan-born players on their roster (Eleven Sports).

Canal+ has decided to cancel two of its sports shows. Midi Sport and Touche pas à mon Sport were both canceled "due to low audience numbers." Midi Sport was "a dud from the start," and was quickly moved to pay-TV to "limit its damage." The final Midi Sport will air on Nov. 9. When TPMS was moved to 5pm on Saturdays, the "return audience numbers dropped severely." The final TPSM will air on Nov. 5 (MEDIA SPORTIF, 10/31).
