BNP Paribas Masters Title Sponsor To Donate €10 Per Ace To Paris Children's Hospital

This week Paris hosts the BNP Paribas Masters, and for the tournament, title sponsor BNP Paribas bank is activating its “Aces du Cœur” promotion, according to Manon Barbay of SPORTS MARKETING. Via its “We Are Tennis par BNP Paribas” program, created in ’12, the bank will donate €10 ($11) to Paris-based Hôpital Robert Debré for the renovation of its children’s surgical floor. In order to boost the sum BNP Paribas will donate to the hospital, four “super servers” were elected by internet users: Milos Raonic, John Isner, Ivo Karlovic and Andy Murray. Aces from those four players will count double throughout the tournament, “with each winning service adding” €20 ($22) to the fund. The goal is to donate €30,000 ($32,900). In addition to “Aces du Cœur,” BNP Paribas has invited 60 children from Hôpital Robert Debré to watch a match and represent the “We Are Tennis Fan Junior Academy” (SPORTS MARKETING, 10/31). SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS’ Alexandre Bailleul reported this year’s BNP Paribas Masters will offer a total purse of more than €3.6M ($4M) with €746,550 ($818,435) going to the winner (SPORTBUZZ BUSINESS, 10/31).
