Most Expensive Beer, Bratwurst In German Football Found In Munich, Analysis Finds

Five 2nd Bundesliga clubs "are selling the most expensive beer in German professional football," according to Kathrin Hartmann of SPONSORs. The cheapest brats are available in the country's North and East. Those are the results of an analysis of beer and bratwurst prices at all 36 Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga clubs. The average price for a liter of beer is €8.10 ($8.90) in each of the top two divisions during the '16-17 season. The average price for a brat is €3.10 ($3.40) in the Bundesliga and €3 ($3.29) in the second tier. Second Bundesliga club 1860 Munich tops the list with a beer price of €8.80 ($9.66) for a liter of Hacker-Pschorr, the club's official beer partner. The most expensive brat is also at home in Munich. Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich charge fans €3.90 ($4.28) (SPONSORs, 10/18).
