Saudi Professional League club Al Hilal named RAMÓN DÍAZ its new coach. Díaz coached Paraguay in this summer's Copa América Centenario. Racing Victoria Chair DAVID MOODIE has "stood aside pending an investigation into an undisclosed matter" by the state's Racing Integrity Commissioner SAL PERNA. An RV statement on Friday said that the investigation "related to a matter that had been reported to Perna by the RV Integrity Council and Moodie chose to stand aside." A prominent racehorse owner and breeder, Moodie became chair in May '15 following the "sudden resignation" of ROB ROULSTON over an integrity issue (ABC, 10/14). ... JOHN PARK has "decided to leave his post" as Scottish Premiership side Celtic's head of football development. Park joined the Scottish side in '07 from Hibernian, "where he had been youth academy director." Celtic announced that Park is "leaving his position to move on to new challenges" (ESPN.com, 10/15). ... GREG D'ALBA’s run as WME-IMG president of global sales & marketing will come to an end at the close of the year. WME-IMG Chief Content Officer MARK SHAPIRO informed the staff on Thursday that D’Alba will leave to pursue personal and philanthropic opportunities. D’Alba joined WME-IMG in June '14 to build a global partnerships division, the first global integrated sales and marketing team at the agency (Michael Smith, Staff Writer).
