Man City player SERGIO AGÜRO believes Manager PEP GUARDIOLA cut off the Internet in parts of the club's training ground "after discovering one player was using his phone in the massage room." Guardiola banned the "use of the internet in parts of the City Football Academy." Agüero said, "It seems that one time, he entered the massage rooms and saw one of my teammates, I don’t know who it was, relaxing with his phone and, I don’t know, maybe he did not like it. From then, he cut off the internet" (LONDON TIMES, 10/12). ... An investigation has been "opened by authorities in Colombia regarding alleged death threats" received by Real Madrid player JAMES RODRIGUEZ and his mother. James' mother PILAR RUBIO "posted a photo on social media of a box with a gun and bullets which had been sent to her with another message that her son had also been targeted and threatened in a similar fashion by another user" (FOOTBALL ESPANA, 10/12).
