Second Bundesliga Side VfB Stuttgart Reports Close To €2M In Profits For '15

Second Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart reported a profit of close to €2M for the year ending Dec. '15, according to KICKER. It was the second consecutive profit for the club, which was relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the '15-16 season. Stuttgart's profit stood at €1.972M. VfB Stuttgart CFO Stefan Heim: "It is not only about numbers, but about maximizing sporting success. Unfortunately, we didn't accomplish that." The club was able to increase its revenue from €107.7M in '14 to €125.5M in '15. It was the club's highest figure in five years. This season, the club expects 43% less income "due to its relegation to the second tier" (KICKER, 10/10).
