Marketplace Roundup: Kobe Bryant Leads NBA's Most Popular Jersey List In China

NBA China announced its lists of most popular jerseys and team merchandise in China, reflecting e-commerce sales on NBAStore.cn. In his final year, Kobe Bryant tops the list, followed by reigning back-to-back league MVP Stephen Curry and Finals MVP LeBron James. The 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers lead in team merchandise sales, and the L.A. Lakers and Chicago Bulls are ranked at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively (NBA China).

BMW
has renewed its partnership with the French Rugby Federation (FFR) for four more years. An official partner of the FFR since ’13, BMW will continue its support of amateur and elite French rugby until ’20. BMW also announced French int’l Guilhem Guirado as a new member of its brand ambassador team (FFR).

Betway has partnered with Kenyan Premier League team Mathare United as its official betting partner in a deal that will see the company "continue to expand its presence throughout the African sporting landscape." As part of the deal, the shirts worn by the team "will bear the Betway company logo throughout the remaining part of this season and next year" (THE STAR, 10/8).

Yamaha Financial Services renewed its deal as the event main sponsor of the Australian round of the 2017 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, continuing its partnership with Dorna WSBK Organization and the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and for another year. The race will take place at Phillip Island Circuit from Feb. 24-26 (WSBK).
