Bundesliga Side VfL Wolfsburg Signs Kitbag As Club's New E-Commerce Partner

Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg "unveiled global sports retailer Kitbag as its new e-commerce partner," according to SOCCEREX. Kitbag will work alongside Wolfsburg "to power the club's online shop, and will look to boost the club's merchandise sales outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland." The new online store will feature "a range of new products, including matchday shirts, lifestyle products, memorabilia and stationery accessories." The deal is the "first to be made between Fanatics-owned Kitbag and a Bundesliga club, although the company does have deals with U.K. teams Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Everton" (SOCCEREX, 10/6).
