ATP Media To Launch Revamped Streaming Offer TennisTV In January

ATP Media, the broadcast arm of the ATP World Tour, "will be re-launching a revamped version of its streaming platform TennisTV" in January, according to Robert Briel of BROADBAND TV NEWS. TennisTV, the official direct-to-consumer streaming service for tennis fans, "provides tennis matches live and on demand from all ATP World Tour Masters 1000, 500 and 250 tournaments, as well as the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 in London." In addition to a revamped website, iOS and Android apps, "it is intended that the new product will be available on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Chromecast." Apps for PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 will follow. Pricing of the OTT-delivered service "will be announced in October." In a change from the existing TennisTV offering, the new product "will exclusively feature all ATP World Tour tournaments only." WTA tournaments "will be packaged separately" from '17 by the WTA Tour (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 9/27).
