Marketplace Roundup: Paris St. Germain Partners With French Bus Company Isilines

Paris St. Germain signed a three-year partnership with French bus company Isilines. Isilines becomes an official provider of the club in a deal worth €200,000 ($223,160) per year. Isilines will transport PSG supporters to all away matches throughout the partnership (PSG).

Ligue 1 side Girondins de Bordeaux wore an original jersey in its 1-0 loss to Angers on Saturday. The club’s jersey featured the logo for the “Mon Cartable Connecté” program, a program that helps children in hospitals keep up with their school work (Bordeaux).


South African cricket side Dolphins and Hollywoodbets announced a partnership in which the betting agency will be the KwaZulu-Natal-based team's title sponsor for the '16-17 domestic cricket season. After signing a three-year associate sponsorship deal ahead of the start of last season, the KZN business and the province’s flagship cricket team have now boosted their association (Cricket South Africa).

Bulgarian telecom Mtel became the new sponsor of Bulgarian football club CSKA Sofia. The contract covers one year and "may be extended by mutual agreement." The partnership between CSKA and Mtel is "part of a long-term strategy of the operator to support football and sport in Bulgaria" (TELECOM PAPER, 9/16).

Newly-named Women's Premiership rugby side Worcester Valkyries announced a partnership with insurer NMU. The deal will see the NMU logo featured on the front of the team's home and away shirts as well as its training wear. NMU will also have a sponsor board in the South Stand at Sixways (Worcester Valkyries).

Jamaican football side UWI and more established counterpart Harbour View FC were the recipients of $2M sponsorship deals with drinks brand Lucozade Ribena Suntory for the remainder of the '16-17 season. The deal includes cash, Lucozade beverages and other products under the brand. While Harbour View FC shares an almost decade-long relationship with the brand, UWI is the "proverbial new kid on the block in the coveted fraternity of Lucozade-sponsored teams" (JAMAICA OBSERVER, 9/16).
