Gambler Eddie Hayson Says NRL Players Received Free Sex At His Brothel

One of Sydney’s "most colourful gambling identities" claims he provided free sex to National Rugby League players and jockeys at the brothel he once owned, according to Brent Read of THE AUSTRALIAN. But Eddie Hayson insisted "he never used the visits as leverage against any of his clients." The former owner of high-class brothel Stiletto until late '14 "is at the centre of match-fixing allegations surrounding three games ­involving the Manly club over the past two years." Hayson is "insisting there was no truth to the allegations." He also "admitted he had hosted rugby league players and other identities at the brothel, providing them with free sex in return for positive promotion of the establishment." Hayson: "That is how I was promoting my business. Word of mouth is a very powerful tool" (THE AUSTRALIAN, 9/16).
