Sky Sports 4 To Become Sky Sports Ryder Cup, Show 240 Hours Of Coverage

Sky Sports will bring 240 hours of The Ryder Cup coverage on a dedicated channel bringing viewers closer to the events. Sky Sports 4 will become Sky Sports Ryder Cup on Sept. 26, offering viewers 10 days of programming primarily focusing on live coverage, highlights, breakfast shows, archive material and Ryder Cup specials. All three days of competition will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports and play will also be simulcast on Sky Sports 1 from Friday to Sunday. The tournament tees off on Sept. 30 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota. Sky Sports' award-winning Ryder Cup coverage will include commentary and analysis from former European captains Colin Montgomerie and Paul McGinley, as well as American golf coach Butch Harmon -- who will have a number of his players competing for Team USA (Sky Sports).
