Final Sale Of Serie A Side AC Milan Could Reportedly Arrive In December

The final sale of AC Milan "could reportedly arrive in December, rather than November as previously thought," according to FOOTBALL ITALIA. A Chinese consortium called Sino-Europe Sports "has agreed a deal to buy the Rossoneri, and a preliminary agreement has been signed." When the prospective new owners sent an instalment of €85M ($95.6M) as part of the deal, it "was announced that the deal would be closed before the end of the year." Previous speculation suggested that the closing would be on Nov. 5, but the Gazzetta dello Sport now suggests that "it will be the first week of December" (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 9/14).
