Liverpool signed a global partnership deal with watch brand Holler, which becomes the club's official timing partner. The three-year deal will see Holler produce a range of Liverpool watches, the first of which is due to launch in late '16 and will be available to purchase from official club stores. Holler will also benefit from digital and social media support as well as access to current and former players (Liverpool).
COVERING THEIR TRACKS: In London, Mark Critchley reported Liverpool’s new watch sponsor was "forced to delete an unusual tweet mocking the club for not winning a league title in 26 years." The club announced the partnership on Tuesday.
Hours later, however, following Marcus Rashford’s hat trick in England U21's 6-1 victory over Norway, a tweet was posted from the @HollerFC account "mocking Liverpool." The tweet, which included a picture of the ManU striker playing for his club, read, "When Arsenal last won the league Marcus Rashford was 6-years old. When Liverpool last won it his Dad (sic) was 10." @HollerFC is "sparsely followed and is not Holler's primary Twitter account," though it does "purport to be affiliated to the brand" (
