BT Sport bosses "will seek talks" with the Scottish FA after referee Craig Thomson restarted Celtic's live TV clash with St. Johnstone "too early." The broadcasters "were caught out when Thomson got the second half of Saturday's game in Perth underway before the producers were ready." That prompted criticism from Scotland Daily Record columnist Chris Sutton -- "working at the game for BT as an expert analyst." Now "the broadcasters have confirmed they will seek talks with SFA referees chief John Fleming to ensure there is no repeat of the incident" (Scotland DAILY RECORD, 8/22).
