Carling, Sky Sports To Launch New Multi-Platform Friday Night Football Show

Carling and Sky Sports announced the launch of a new online football show, which will complement Sky Sports' new Friday Night Football program. The show, titled, "Carling In Off The Bar," hosted by Soccer AM's Adam Smith and Laura Woods, will provide fans with a look back on the week in football and alternative analysis on that evening's game. It will also include football challenges and celebrity guests. The show, which will be filmed on location in the city of one of the teams playing that evening, will be available to watch online via Sky Sports' digital and social channels both before and after each of the 10 Friday night Premier League matches taking place during the '16-17 season (Sky Sports). THE DRUM's Tony Connelly wrote Carling "will leverage the partnership with Sky Sports and the Premier League across its social feeds with live behind-the-scenes content and interviews, show highlights, Premier League ticket giveaways and football-related challenges." The partnership between Carling and Sky Sports "was brokered by Sky Media and media agency, Zenith with HSE Cake, Carling’s partnership, PR, experiential and social media agency." HSE Cake "is leading the partnership with creative direction from Creature of London" (THE DRUM, 8/17).
