Sports Car Maker TVR To Sponsor Welsh Side Ebbw Vale After Choosing City As Factory Site

British sports car manufacturer TVR has announced it will become Welsh Championship side Ebbw Vale RFC's "main sponsor for next season," according to Heledd Pritchard of WALES ONLINE. This comes after the company "chose Ebbw Vale as the location of its new factory earlier this year, where it will manufacture its new vehicle." The Steelmen will "wear the company's logo on the front of both their shirt and shorts." In April, TVR Chair Les Edgar said that the manufacturing company was "looking at several sites in Ebbw Vale as well as others in enterprise zones along the A465." The company also confirmed the new site "will create 150 highly skills jobs" (WALES ONLINE, 8/2).
