The Argentine FA announced that EDGARDO BAUZA will be the new coach of the national team. He replaces GERARDO MARTINO, who resigned after Argentina lost to Chile in the finals of this year's Copa America. Bauza is currently the coach of Brasileiro side São Paulo (OLÉ, 8/1). ... NFL Media named San Francisco-based The Marketing Farm Founder & CEO JULIE HADDON senior VP/marketing. Haddon will be responsible for brand and marketing strategies for all NFL Media properties (NFL Media). ... American ice hockey Olympic champion ANGELA RUGGIERO was elected as the new chair of the IOC's Athletes' Commission. Ruggiero is the current vice-chair of the commission, which acts as the voice of the athletes within the IOC and the Olympic Movement, and is a former ice hockey player who has played more games for Team USA than any other man or woman. After four years at the helm of the commission, CLAUDIA BOKEL will see her term of office come to an end at the conclusion of the 2016 Rio Games. French Olympic canoeing champion and Paris 2024 bid co-President TONY ESTANGUET was elected as vice-chair (Olympic). ... WPP has appointed ALINA KESSEL as president and CEO of Team P&G, "leading WPP's relationship with Procter & Gamble across its agencies while continuing to be based in London." Kessel succeeds TAMARA INGRAM in the position, "who went on to become global CEO of JWT" (AD WEEK, 7/29). ... Australia cricket coach DARREN LEHMANN "has extended his contract" until Oct. '19, "but said he does not expect to continue beyond then." The 46-year-old's deal, which was set to expire in '17, "now covers the World Cup and Ashes in England" in '19. Lehmann, who was appointed in '13, said, "I love the job, but it's a job you can't do forever" (BBC, 8/1). ... Worcestershire County Cricket Club confirmed the appointment of TOM SCOTT as its permanent CEO in succession to DAVID LEATHERDALE. Scott replaced Leatherdale on an interim basis in February until the end of the '16 season, after his predecessor moved into a similar role with the Professional Cricketers' Association. Scott founded The Cotswold Group, a U.K. leader in providing support services to the insurance sector, in '90 (WCCC).
