Franchise Notes: Chesterfield Marketing Chief Leaving Club Over Raffle Fraud

A member of League One side Chesterfield’s staff has left the club following an internal investigation into a raffle for a place at the club’s preseason training camp that sold only four tickets and was won by a “falsified” entry. The club said that Head of Commercial & Marketing Kevin Fitzgerald has left "after a supporter spotted that the winner for a place on the training camp in Hungary possibly did not exist." Chesterfield Dir Ashley Carson said, "I am still reeling from the shameful incident that has attracted nationwide headlines for the club for all the wrong reasons" (PA, 7/20).

Liverpool announced it will be screening a live 360-degree view of the Huddersfield Town friendly, offering fans a fully immersive viewing experience. The club will stream the match via YouTube using a 360-degree camera that will allow users to control the view of the camera from the halfway line and look around the field of view or behind at the fans (Liverpool).
