China Arena Football League Partners With Media Portal Hupu Sports

Chinese sports media portal Hupu Sports has agreed to a "strategic agreement with the China Arena Football League," according to Pu Yang of YUTANG SPORTS. Under the deal Hupu Sports "will provide digital marketing and media management services to help promote CAFL through various media platforms, including a proposed new site alongside Wechat and Weibo." The CAFL is set to organize "the first ever American football tournament in Beijing on the first weekend in October." The competition will be hosted in Dalian, Qingdao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen on each of the following weekends up until Nov. 5, "when the final will be held in Shanghai" (YUTANG SPORTS, 7/18).
