Marketplace Roundup: U.K. Car Supermarket Motorpoint Partners With Motherwell

U.K. car supermarket Motorpoint has become "the new principal sponsor" for Scottish Premiership side Motherwell. Motorpoint has "agreed to become the headline sponsor" for the club based at Fir Park in Motherwell ahead of the '16-17 season. The Motorpoint branding "will feature" on the front of Motherwell’s home, away and third kits. Motorpoint will "also be overseeing the Player of the Month award as well as giving away tickets to all home fixtures via social media as part of its sponsorship" (AM ONLINE, 7/14).

OFFICIAL ITALIAN BANKUBI Banca has become Serie A side Juventus' official bank following the announcement of a commercial partnership. Fans of Juventus will have access to a selection of ad hoc services, including personalized bank cards with club-related images (Juventus). 

CURRIE CUP PARTNERSouth Africa Rugby welcomed Nashua "to its family of partners with the business solutions provider" agreeing to a three-year sponsorship of the Currie Cup. The revamped Currie Cup competition, consisting of nine teams in the Premier Division and six in the First Division, "kicks off early next month following on from the qualifying competition, which started in April and still has two rounds remaining" (SUPER SPORT, 7/13).

Muc-Off
will be working with British Cycling in a partnership "that will see the British bike care brand treat and supply all bike chains for the Great Britain Cycling Team." As part of the partnership, Muc-Off "will supply over 75 chains to athletes" (BIKE BIZ, 7/14).

The Swiss FA (SFV) has agreed to a partnership with insurance company Helvetia Versicherungen as the new presenting partner of the Swiss Cup. As part of the four-year deal, the cup competition will be called Helvetia Schweizer Cup (Helvetia).
