Olympic Notes: Spanish Olympic Committee Partners With Bug Spray Brand Relec

The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) signed a collaboration agreement with anti-mosquito brand Relec, which will be the official provider for Spanish athletes attending the Rio Olympics. As part of the agreement, Relec will provide the COE with 3,000 units of its Relec Extra Strong (EP, 7/12).

Spain's Superior Sports Council (CSD) and food brand Danone presented the "Danone Academy," which aims to strengthen the knowledge and use of social media by elite athletes. The academy will take place from July 13-18 at the High-Performance Center in Madrid (EL CONFIDENCIAL, 7/12).

Technogym has been selected as the official and exclusive fitness equipment supplier for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. For Technogym, Rio 2016 represents the sixth Olympic experience after Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. In Rio, Technogym will equip 15 centers with over 1,000 pieces of equipment for the training of the 10,500 athletes taking part in the Games (Technogym).
