France Télévisions Records Best First Week Of Tour De France Coverage

France 2 and France 3 recorded an average audience of 2.9 million viewers, and a 29% market share, "for the first week of France Télévisions' Tour de France coverage," according to Thierry Wojciak of CB NEWS. France Télévisions said that the numbers were “the best first week of the Tour since 2013.” For “each stage of the competition,” France 2 drew an average audience of 3.3 million viewers (36.7% market share) while France 3 drew an average audience of 2.2 million viewers (21.8% market share). France Télévisions' online platform dedicated to the Tour de France, francetvsport, has registered more than 2.5 million visitors, “a rise of 12% from 2015” (CB NEWS, 7/11).
