Supermarket Chain Aldi Extends Partnership With Team Great Britain

Aldi extended its partnership to support Team GB throughout Rio 2016 and on the road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. As the first official supermarket partner to Team GB, Aldi has already worked with the British Olympic Association. With less than one month to go to the Opening Ceremony in Brazil, Aldi announced that it is extending its partnership with the BOA for a further four years and launching a new TV advertising campaign profiling its support of Team GB. To mark the countdown to Rio 2016, Aldi also launched a new TV advertising campaign to highlight its support of Team GB, and of Britain generally. The advert was screened on Monday on ITV1 as part of the ad break between Emmerdale and Coronation Street (Team GB).
