Spanish Basketball League (ACB) club Laboral Kutxa President JOSEAN QUEREJETA on Tuesday confirmed the departure of Croatian coach VELIMIR PERASOVIC, who will coach Turkish club Efes next season (EFE, 6/14). ... Former Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps coach MARTIN RENNIE "was sacked by a South Korean second-tier club." Seoul E-Land FC announced that Rennie "will be released from his contract by mutual agreement." The 41-year-old Scot "became the club's first-ever head coach when he joined the K League Challenge side in July 2014." The club, run by South Korean retail giant E-Land, did not "reveal the reason for the contract termination."
