Eleven Sports Network signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Orange to broadcast its Eleven and Eleven Sports channels. Starting on June 14, Orange TV and Internet subscribers will have access to a comprehensive range of sports content from around the world on Eleven’s two channels, as part of the basic subscription package. French national broadcaster TF1 and M6 "are locked in a battle to secure the TV rights for France's matches" in the '18-22 cycle. TF1 and beIN Sports "are broadcasting Euro 2016 in France, with the former broadcaster focusing predominantly on Les Bleus, the French national team, while beIN Sports has a wider offer of matches" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 6/13).

Zimbabwe's Econet Media and U.K. sports promoters Matchroom Sport "have signed a new long-term partnership, which will give Kwese Sports broadcast rights to Matchroom's entire catalogue of events." The U.K.-based promotional company produces more than "700 hours of original programming per year across a range of sports." The complimentary live streaming offered online will be available in African countries. Kwese Sports "will also have access to Matchroom Sport's entire back catalogue of programming and archive specials" (TELECOM PAPER, 6/14).
