Atlético Madrid Reveals Season Ticket Prices For First Year At La Peineta Stadium

Atlético Madrid announced season ticket prices for '17-18, which will be the team's first at its new La Peineta stadium, according to F.J. Díaz of AS. The cheapest season ticket will cost €250 ($282). In '15-16, the cheapest option cost fans €325 ($367). The second-cheapest season ticket at La Peineta will cost €325 -- the equivalent at the Vicente Calderón cost €430 ($485). Atlético believes that 18,500 of its season ticket holders will pay less after the change of venue. The most expensive season ticket at La Peineta -- not including the VIP boxes -- will cost €1,100 ($1,240). The club will "continue to offer discounts: including a 50% discount on tickets for children younger than 12, except in the VIP zone; and fans older than 65 will receive a 25% discount in any section besides the VIP zone" (AS, 6/13).
