Ed Chamberlin will present ITV's racing coverage when the channel takes over from current broadcaster Channel 4 in '17 -- with David Jones "replacing him" as Sky's Monday Night Football host. Chamberlin will join ITV from Sky Sports, where he has been the lead presenter of its football coverage, and "has a background in racing, having previously worked for Ladbrokes." Chamberlin has been a "long-established member of the Sky Sports operation and, in recent years, was the presenter of the network's Monday Night Football show" (London DAILY MAIL, 6/8).
Baofeng was officially awarded the '16-17 season broadcasting rights to the Chinese Super League at 100M yuan ($15.2M) annually. It is "worth mentioning that LeSports has already acquired the exclusive global broadcasting rights to the CSL." This came at a price of 2.7B yuan ($410M) from Ti'ao Power last February. Being "the exclusive new media platform, LeSports has the broadcasting rights of all 240 matches while Baofeng Sports and Whaley TV merely own the broadcasting rights of a single match in every round" (YUTANG SPORTS, 6/7).
