Former Olympique de Marseille Sales Manager JÉRÉMY MINUCELLI “has been named sponsorship manager of ASSE Promotion, part of the Lagardère Sports group, and commercial authority of Ligue 1 side AS Saint-Etienne.” Minucelli will be part of a 10-person team based in Saint-Etienne and led by NICOLAS JACQ. With Lagardère Sports, Minucelli worked with Serie A sides Fiorentina as sales exec, Sampdoria as team leader and Juventus as market & sales operation director (CB NEWS, 6/2). ... RICHARD FRANKLE "was re-elected as Cricket Namibia president at its recent annual general meeting in Windhoek" after beating POLLY NEGONGO to the post. The rest of the exec committee that was elected consists of FRANKLIN GREEN, ANDRE SNYMAN, HESTER KAHN, HENNO PRINSLOO and LAURIE PIETERS (NAMIBIAN, 6/5). ... RONALD KOEMAN has agreed to become the new manager of Everton, in a deal financed by the club’s new Owner FARHAD MOSHIRI, with Southampton now considering either EDDIE HOWE or the Sevilla Manager UNAI EMERY as his replacement (London TELEGRAPH, 6/4).
