Red Bull completed its "reconciliation with Renault" on Sunday by announcing that it and sister team Toro Rosso "will use Formula One engines provided by the French manufacturer in 2017 and 2018." Red Bull currently uses Renault power units with Tag Heuer branding and that "will stay the same."  Red Bull said that Toro Rosso "could change the name of their Renault engines if they wished to do so as part of the new agreement" (REUTERS, 5/29).

A scholarship scheme named in honor of former Aussie rules football players Graham Farmer and Barry Cable "has been proposed in a bid to attract Indigenous coaches" into the Australian Football League. The AFL Coaches Association "has put forward a scheme that would lead to Indigenous coaches across Australia being sponsored to spend a month at an AFL club during the pre-season NAB Challenge period as one solution to the scarcity of Aborigines across the competition." The 18 senior coaches "have backed the idea, which also has the support of Cable, who last week called for a more meaningful pathway for Indigenous coaches" (THE AGE, 5/30).
