Finance Notes: Stan Kroenke Increases Majority Shareholding In Arsenal

Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke "increased his majority shareholding" in the club, despite discontent at the Emirates Stadium. Kroenke Sports Enterprise U.K. Inc., wholly owned by the American businessman, "has acquired 23 ordinary shares" for £368,000 ($539,700), to take his shareholding to 67.05% (41,721 shares), it was announced under corporate disclosure on Thursday. Kroenke, who also owns the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, "has been Arsenal’s majority shareholder since 2011" (PA, 5/26).

Motorsport Network
 acquired Amalgam Holdings Ltd. Under terms of the transaction agreement, the company, which is headquartered in Bristol, U.K., will be renamed The Amalgam Collection Ltd. Amalgam will leverage Motorsport Network’s multinational and multimedia presence, including sales and marketing operations in 21 regions and 14 native languages around the world (Motorsport Network).
