Marketplace Roundup: German Basketball Side BG Göttingen Signs Kit Deal With Nike

Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) club BG Göttingen signed a new kit supply deal with Nike. The two-year deal, which will start with the '16-17 season, will run until '18 with an option for an additional year. Nike replaces K1X as the team's official supplier. Göttingen will join ratiopharm Ulm as Nike's second BBL club (BG Göttingen).

Colombian int'l cement company Cementos Argos signs on as the first national supporter for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016. The agreement gives Cementos Argos domestic marketing rights for the FIFA Futsal World Colombia 2016. The event strengthens Cementos Argos’ commitment to sports and particularly to futsal (FIFA).

League Championship side Rotherham United renewed its partnership with Parkgate Shopping, which has signed a deal to become the sponsor on the back of the club’s new home shirt. Parkgate, which has recently been purchased by BMO Real Estate Partners, has signed a further deal with the club that will ensure their logo remains on the home strip in the '16-17 season (Rotherham United).
