EPL Side Watford Announces Three-Year Kit Deal With Dryworld

EPL side Watford announced a three-year deal with independent sportswear brand Dryworld, which will supply its "playing kit and training gear from next season," according to Tom Dutton of the London EVENING STANDARD. Watford "signed a three-year deal with Puma in 2012 and extended the partnership by a further 12 months, but Dryworld will supply match shirts and replica kits going forward." Watford Commercial Dir Spencer Field said, "As we continue to grow as a club, both on and off the field, it is imperative that we work with companies who are ambitious and forward-thinking" (EVENING STANDARD, 3/10). THE DRUM's Tony Connelly wrote the Canadian sports brand is "continuing its push into the European market." While no financial details were revealed, club officials "confirmed that it was the biggest deal in Watford’s history, illustrating the brand’s level of commitment in cementing its places alongside the top sports brands in football." Prior to launching its European expansion, Dryworld "built up its brand profile through kits deals with a number of South American clubs including Brazilian clubs Atlético Mineiro, Fluminense, and Goias" (THE DRUM, 5/10).

NEW EXCHANGE PARTNER: Watford reached an agreement with Divisa Capital to be the club’s new official foreign exchange partner. Commencing immediately, the deal will run for the next three seasons. Divisa Capital will benefit from Watford’s hospitality and advertising opportunities as well as a suite of rights that include access to the club’s IP and integration across the club’s communication channels. The agreement was finalized with the assistance of sports agency SportQuake (SportQuake).
