Marketplace Roundup: Hannover 96 Renews Sponsorhip Deal With Insurance Provider AOK

Bundesliga club Hannover 96 renewed its sponsorship deal with insurance company AOK until the end of the '17-18 season. As part of the deal, AOK will receive ad space in camera view on LED boards. The company has been a partner of the club since '11-12. The AOK renewal is a welcome sign as the club will play in the 2nd Bundesliga next season (Hannover 96).

Axis Stars Ltd., a social network for professional athletes, "has signed a deal" with digital media firm Milestone Group to work on its youth unemployment program, The Passion Project. As part of the agreement Axis Stars, which was co-founded by former ManU and Everton striker Louis Saha, "will work to market and cross-promote The Passion Project using technology available through Milestone’s joint venture, Nexstar." Additionally, the deal between the two firms "will see Saha become an official ambassador of the program" (BDAILY, 5/9).

Premiership rugby side Bath has renewed its partnership with Thatchers Cider. The renewal will see an increase in the brand’s presence at the Recreation Ground, which already includes the Thatchers Stand, and  its logo will continue to be featured on the back of the match jerseys (Bath Rugby).

Australian Football League club Greater Western Sydney Giants signed a deal with fresh Mexican grill Mad Mex as the club's official post-match nutrition partner (GWS Giants).
