Column: Leicester City Players' Values To Jump This Summer

Leicester City stands "on the brink of winning a historic Premier League title," and Manager Claudio Ranieri's regular starting 11 were put together at a cost of less than £21M ($31M), "so it's no surprise their values have risen hugely during their charge to the top of the table," according to Joe Strange of the London DAILY MAIL. Here is a "look at what Jamie Vardy and Co could be worth this summer:"
Kasper Schmeichel
Fee: Free
Value: £12M
With 15 Premier League clean sheets to his name this season, it is "no wonder Schmeichel's value has risen dramatically since last August." Reports "now suggest he is being considered by Barcelona."

N'Golo Kante
Fee: £5.6M
Value: £20M
Watched by Paris St. Germain during Sunday's draw at Old Trafford, Kante "is likely to be in huge demand after announcing himself to the rest of Europe this season." He is "believed to have a release clause of £20M and it would be no surprise if that was met by more than one club."

Danny Drinkwater
Fee: £1M
Value: £12M
Drinkwater has "every chance of representing England at Euro 2016 after impressing in Leicester's engine room." His "home-grown status and range of passing mean he is now valued above £10M."

Riyad Mahrez
Fee
: £350,000
Value: £35M
Having signed Mahrez for just £350,000 from French Ligue 2 club Le Havre in '14, it is "realistic to think Leicester would want at least 100 times that amount for him this summer."

Jamie Vardy
Fee
: £1M
Value: £25M
Some "questioned Leicester's decision to bring Vardy from non-League Fleetwood for £1M, but his value has gone through the roof after a dream season filled with goals." The England striker "signed a new deal in February, meaning any interested club will have to pay big to prise him away" (DAILY MAIL, 5/2).
