Marketplace Roundup: VOC Names Herbalife Vietnam Official Nutrition Sponsor

The Vietnam Olympic Committee named Herbalife Vietnam as the official nutrition sponsor for Vietnamese athletes bound for Rio 2016. The new agreement marks the continuation of Herbalife's nutrition sponsorship for Vietnam's Olympic athletes, as well as the company's inaugural sponsorship of the country's Paralympic athletes. Herbalife will provide its range of nutrition products, sports nutrition consulting and training to athletes and coaches participating at the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympic Games. In addition, Herbalife Vietnam signed a new five-year sponsorship with Vietnam Sports Administration, making it the official nutrition sponsor of Vietnam sports from '17-21 (VOC).

Stobart Group has extended its support of the Flat Jockeys' Championship for '16 following the inaugural sponsorship of last year's championship and the '15-16 Stobart Jump Jockeys' Championship (SPORTING LIFE, 4/20).

Bundesliga side Bayern Munich has signed a new partnership with Procter & Gamble. The U.S. consumer goods producer will become a third-tier partner of the club starting with the '16-17 season. P&G will receive marketing rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (Bayern Munich).

Puma revealed the latest edition of its dual colored Tricks boot with Puma players Sergio Agüero, Marco Reus, Cesc Fàbregas, Marco Verratti, Olivier Giroud and others. Puma's two-colored boot concept is inspired by Cameroonian Rigobert Song's World Cup moment in '98, when he decided on a whim to lace up two different colored Puma King boots (Puma).
