Warwickshire County Cricket Club Signs Partnership Deal With Marston's

Warwickshire County Cricket Club "signed a new sponsorship deal" with Black Country brewery Marston's, according to Tamlyn Jones of the BIRMINGHAM POST. The agreement "continues the long-standing relationship between the two businesses and will take the Wolverhampton-based brewery's association with the club past the 20-year mark." The seven-year extension will run until '23 and is one of the biggest official beer and supply partnerships in cricket, said to be worth "more than seven figures" although the club declined to put an exact figure on the deal. Part of the new agreement "will see the development of the Moseley Arms Real Ale bar in the stadium's RES Wyatt Stand" (BIRMINGHAM POST, 4/19).
