Airbnb Launches Listing Inside Rio 2016 Gymnastics Venue

Airbnb "created the first bedroom inside the Rio Olympic Arena," and it is offering sporting fans the chance to stay within the space, according to Brea Carter of EVENT MAGAZINE. The arena "was constructed especially for the sport of gymnastics, and it will host three disciplines during the upcoming Rio Olympic Games." The gold medal-inspired room "has been designed to include a range of apparatus’ typically used in the sport." One winner and a guest "will be flown to Rio to stay in the listing" on April 20. Prize recipients "will also attend the final international rhythmic gymnastics qualifier event and medal ceremony." Airbnb "will fly the selected individual and their guest of choosing to Rio from anywhere in the world" (EVENT MAGAZINE, 4/14).
