Media Notes: BT Sport To Host Hockey Champions Trophies Tournament In U.K.

BT Sport will be the host broadcaster of the Hockey Champions Trophies in the U.K. as part of a new deal agreed with the Int'l Hockey Federation (FIH). The Hockey Champions Trophy tournaments will be held in London in June, with top teams competing before the Rio Olympics. BT Sport will broadcast 18 men’s Hockey Champions Trophy matches from Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre June 10-17 and 18 women’s Hockey Champions Trophy matches June 18-26; a total of 36 hours of coverage for each competition (FIH). 

The 2016 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship has a new online home at EverSport.tv. EverSport and ARRC announced an exclusive multi-year partnership to bring the championships to all global regions through the EverSport streaming platform. Each race will be live on the EverSport platform (EverSport). 

Canal+ has partnered with Univert Production to “broadcast European and global boxing events for the next two seasons.” The pay-TV channel “will offer its first boxing event on May 20” live from the Sports Palace in Paris (MEDIA SPORTIF, 3/24).
