Sky Deutschland-owned marketing company Sky Media appointed RALF HAPE as its new VP of sales. Hape started his new position on March 1. The 36-year-old will report to Sky Media Managing Dirs MARTIN MICHEL and THOMAS DEISSENBERGER. Hape joined Sky Media in '12 and most recently held the title of director of sales and air time planning (Sky Media). ... League Championship side Bolton Wanderers Vice-Chair BRETT WARBURTON "resigned following the recent takeover of the club." DEAN HOLDSWORTH's Sports Shield consortium and KEN ANDERSON's Inner Circle bought the club from EDDIE DAVIES earlier this month. Warburton said that the change of ownership and death of former Chair PHIL GARTSIDE last month "prompted his decision to leave" (BBC, 3/22). ... League Two side Notts County confirmed the appointment of JASON TURNER as CEO. Turner said that "his priority is to instill some stability at the club to lay the platform for promotion to League One." Turner, who has held roles at Cardiff City, Plymouth Argyle and Newport County, "will start at Meadow Lane on April 4 and will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of Notts." He replaces JULIAN WINTER (NOTTINGHAM POST, 3/22). ... ESPN named Walmart VP/Media & Digital Marketing WANDA YOUNG senior VP/marketing and consumer engagement. In the newly created role, Young will be responsible for overseeing ESPN's marketing, media, research, analytics and marketing solutions efforts. She will report to ESPN President of Global Sales & Marketing ED ERHARDT (ESPN). ... MLB named attorney JORGE PEREZ-DIAZ senior VP and special counsel/litigation and int'l affairs. Pérez-Diaz will be liaison to the legal counsel of all 30 MLB clubs and will manage various legal issues in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti and throughout Latin America. He has consulted with MLB on Latin American issues since January '10. Pérez-Diaz was a partner in the Puerto Rican law firm Pietrantoni Mendez & Alvarez (MLB). ... Welsh Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport & Tourism KEN SKATES said that the Welsh Government appointed PAUL THOMAS as successor to LAURA MCALLISTER as chair of Sport Wales. Thomas was shortlisted for ex-ManU Manager ALEX FERGUSON's "most influential leader" award of '15. A "new approach" to community sport will be among Thomas' priorities (BBC, 3/22).

: Spanish third division club CD Guadalajara named DAVID VIDAL its new coach. Vidal, 65, has not coached since his stint with Spanish side Xerez ended in Aug. '13 (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 3/22). ... League One side Scunthorpe United appointed former Fleetwood Manager GRAHAM ALEXANDER as its new manager. The 44-year-old "started his playing career with the Iron and has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the League One club." NICK DAWS, "who had previously been placed in charge until the end of the season, will be Alexander's assistant" (BBC, 3/22).
