Adidas Tweets Confirmation Of Sponsorship Deal With Juventus 23-Year-Old Paul Pogba

Adidas’ "long rumoured sponsorship deal" with Juventus player Paul Pogba has been confirmed as he agreed to "what is believed to be a 10-year deal," according to Tony Connelly of THE DRUM. Adidas confirmed the news Wednesday with a tweet "welcoming the French 23-year-old" to the team of adidas-sponsored athletes, which also includes Barcelona's Lionel Messi. Pogba: "This is the first sponsor contract I’ve signed and it’s a very important decision for me." To coincide with the confirmation of the deal, which has been widely rumored since mid-February, the German sports brand "unveiled Pogba’s official football boots." The exclusive gold and black Ace 16+ Pure Control kicks were co-created by Pogba and "will initially only be given to him" (THE DRUM, 3/16).
