Media Notes: China Central Television Will Broadcast Chinese Super League

China Central Television has "entered into a deal with Ti’ao Power on the broadcasting rights to the Chinese Super League," according to a report on domestic site Lanxiong. Under the agreement, CCTV's sport channel CCTV 5 will air a CSL match on Saturday night for each round with 20 more CSL matches at random over the course of this season. In addition, CCTV 5's live CSL coverage "must broadcast at least one home game from each CSL club" during the '16 season. Financial terms of the deal "were not disclosed" (YUTANG SPORTS, 3/15).

JUVENTUS CHINA: Serie A side Juventus launched a "unique digital platform through Chinese technology firm Luvfans." The platform, called the Juventus Chinese Digital Fan Community, will "engage with the Turin-based team's Chinese fanbase through a specially designed social network." The club will offer fans "exclusively designed activities, as well as original merchandise and a number of competitions to win flights and tickets to a Juventus home game" (SOCCEREX, 3/15).

Global fantasy sports platform Mondogoal announced the addition of Real Madrid as its latest partner. Mondogoal will leverage club images and assets to create and promote a team-branded experience for Real Madrid fans (Mondogoal). 

Lagardère Sports announced it signed an exclusive deal with the Int'l Table Tennis Federation to sell the media rights to all its events worldwide (excluding China, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan). The multi-year deal will run from '16-20. Lagardère Sports will sell the media rights to ITTF events including the ITTF World Tour, ITTF World Cup (men's, women's and teams), ITTF World Team Championships, ITTF World Championships and the ITTF Junior events (Lagardère). 

Roger Federer is "in a new commercial for Sunrise Telecommunications where he is seen locking horns with a dinosaur." Sunrise is the largest private telecom provider in Switzerland "covering mobile, landline network, Internet and digital TV" (TENNIS WORLD USA, 3/14).
