Qatari-Based Communications Company Ooredoo Launches Messi Campaign

Communications company Ooredoo launched a new advertising campaign called "Together We Do Wonders" with global brand ambassador Lionel Messi, according to TRADE ARABIA. Following the success of its "Simply Do Wonders" campaign, the Qatari telecom group "launched this new sequel to the award-winning campaign." Ooredoo "marked the commercial's world premiere at a special event held in Barcelona." The Qatar-based firm said that the commercial, which features the same cast as the previous film, "plays on Ooredoo’s key themes of teamwork, technological skills and striving to do your best." This time around, as well as highlighting the possibilities that technology can bring, Ooredoo "is also using the campaign to showcase its global CSR initiatives and its support for sport across its footprint." As part of the campaign, Ooredoo launched a dedicated micro-site with an online strategy game "Stand Your Ground" at www.standforgood.com (TRADE ARABIA, 3/12).
