Fruity King Set To Beat Out Dafabet To Be Scottish Celtic's Shirt Sponsor

Mobile gaming casino company Fruity King is "set to trump established betting company Dafabet by agreeing a record breaking shirt sponsorship deal" with Scottish Premiership side Celtic, according to Sarad Bade Shrestha of WINNER SPORTS. With its current shirt sponsorship deal with Magners set to expire at the end of the current campaign, Celtic is "on the lookout for a new partner over the summer" and reports which emerged earlier this year had revealed that the club has been in discussions with betting company Dafabet. In a "surprise turn of events" though, Dafabet could end up losing its prospective shirt sponsorship contract with Celtic as Fruity King is "set to outbid the betting company in a record breaking deal." Fruity King is "now set to press on" with its pursuit of creating a partnership with Celtic and has "set aside a sizeable budget, which is believed to exceed Dafabet's reported offer on the table." Fruity King Marketing & Partnerships Head James Smith said, "I can confirm we're in talks with several parties regarding sponsorship deals. We have the budget to compete with anyone. Celtic are a massive club with a huge global fan-base. We're eager to close what could potentially be the biggest sponsorship deal in Scottish football." Celtic's finances have been hit recently following consecutive seasons without Champions League football as well as "due to the absence of fierce rivals Rangers in the top flight." The talks between Celtic and Fruity King are "at a tentative stage at the moment and while the details are yet to be disclosed, the potential sponsorship is set to significantly surpass Rangers' deal with 32Red" (WINNER SPORTS, 3/10).
