Spanish Second Division Side Osasuna Presents Financial Viability Plan

Spanish second division side Osasuna presented in Parliament a financial viability plan "to resolve its debt with the Spanish tax authorities and banks," according to the EFE. The plan "would see the club cancel its debts in seven years if it remains in the second division, and in two if it is promoted to La Liga." Club President Luis Sabalza and Dir Ángel Ardanaz were "in charge of explaining the plan," which they called "very conservative," as it does not include estimated payments for possible player transfers, even though Osasuna just sold Mikel Merino to Borussia Dortmund for €3.7M ($4M) (EFE, 3/9).
