Le Sports Launches Chinese Super League 'Watch-And-Buy' Service

Le Sports, the Chinese Super League's exclusive media partner, will launch a "live" shopping service for the emerging Asian league, according to SOCCEREX. The service, which will be available through Le Sport’s Super TV channel, "gives fans the ability to purchase official merchandise during live screenings of CSL matches." Le Sports CEO Lei Zhegjian said, "This is the first time that we will provide live shopping services on TV and Internet platforms." The firm has acquired the franchise rights to sell official shirts, footballs, emblems and armbands, and "the initiative will launch" on March 4 during the first round of the '16 CSL season fixtures (SOCCEREX, 3/3).
