Biathlon World Cup Event In Canada Draws More Than 4.5 Million On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "drew more than 4.5 million viewers for its biathlon coverage on Thursday," according to Kevin Kyburz of QUOTENMETER. The event from Calgary, Canada, obtained a 15.6% market share as 4.51 million viewers tuned in at 7:15pm. In the target demographic 14-49, the men's 10km sprint race drew 620,000 viewers and had a 6.8% market share. It was first time Canada hosted a biathlon world cup event in 22 years (QUOTENMETER, 2/5).

SIX NATIONS: L’ÉQUIPE reported the Six Nations match between France and Italy attracted an average audience of 4.33 million viewers, translating into a 35.1% market share, for French broadcaster France 2. The match drew a peak audience of 5.5 million. The women’s France vs. Italy match on France 4 drew 546,000 viewers, a 2.5% market share (L’ÉQUIPE, 2/7).
