Marketplace Roundup: Valencia Partners With Int'l Betting Operator Codere Apuestas

La Liga side Valencia announced an agreement with int'l sports betting operator Codere Apuestas to become a new partner with the club. The Codere Apuestas logo will be displayed on the left sleeve of the team shirt in domestic competitions, and a series of sponsorship events will be activated throughout the current season (Valencia). ... The Malaysian FA (FAM) has announced that it will continue to be sponsored by Telekom Malaysia "for a further five years." Telecom Malaysia has been one of FAM’s main supporters "since the early 2000s." The FAM also publicized the new official title of the national team: the "Tiger of Malaysia" (SOCCEREX, 2/5). ... Dentsu Aegis Network reached an agreement with the principal shareholders of Spanish sports marketing and brand activation specialist Alesport Group "to acquire the operation." The four companies under the Alesport umbrella are Rmp Racing, RPM Events, Alesport and Aventurismo (INDIAN TELEVISION, 2/5). ... Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Jako agreed to a partnership for the start of the '16-17 campaign. The club and the sports equipment manufacturer from Baden-Württemberg signed a two-year deal with an option for a further 12 months. The company based in Hollenbach is taking a step forward in the int'l market with this collaboration (Bayer 04).
