Spanish Second Division Side Tenerife's Debt Down From €54M In '06 To €18M

Spanish second division side Tenerife's debt has been reduced by more than 60% during the presidency of Miguel Concepción, according to the EFE. When he arrived at the club in '06, it had a debt of €54M, which he has been able to reduce to €18M ($19.7M) as of the conclusion of the most recent financial year. Tenerife said in a statement that it is now in a "very different situation" than it was in '06, and that the debt is "becoming smaller and more controlled." The club also announced that it closed the '14-15 year with a profit (EFE, 1/19).
