Chinese Super League Side Shijiazhuang Ever Bright Sells Off 50% Stake

Chinese Super League side FC Shijiazhuang Ever Bright has sold a 50% stake to Hebei Hongsong, "an investment company that focuses on new energy," according to Chen Yaping of YUTANG SPORTS. The report "was based on the enterprise credit information of the club." The information "shows that the registered capital of the club" is 30M yuan ($4.6M). Its two stakeholders, Hebei Hongsong and Ever Bright Land, both own a 50% stake (15M yuan) ($2.3M). Ever Bright "was the only team without sponsorship" during the '15 Chinese Super League season. Club President Li Qiang told reporters that "they did have attractive offers that invited the team to move away." However, "they preferred to stay in Shijiazhuang" (YUTANG SPORTS, 1/11)
